This course is designed for individuals working
at height. The Competent Inspector Course is designed for the professional user or supervisor that is charged with setting up an inspection program and/or conducting inspection on fall protection equipment.
OVERVIEW: This course offers an awareness of the issues involved with fall protection. A focus on the theory of fall protection and the need to protect workers at height highlights this informative seminar. Participants are introduced to the legislation governing fall protection as well as the components of a fall protection system including body holding devices, anchorages, connectors and rescue.
Upon successful completion of this course the student will receive a certificate acknowledging they have met or exceeded OSHA, ANSI and CSA requirements as an Authorized Person.
